Grace and Peace to You,
Another exciting week here at Central Christian Church. CDSA is continuing to get the rooms ready for the Daycare. We are waiting for the date for the Open House, but we will let everyone know as soon as we do. We are also getting ready for the carpet to be changed in the basement. Hopefully this will be done soon.
On Saturday, the Men’s Group met at Barnstormers for breakfast. This was also the weekend for the fly-in, but the weather kept most the planes grounded. We were lucky to be able to walk over to the covered terminal and see several of the trainers from Vance Air Force Base and visit with several of the officers. It was a good morning.
As we move into May, there are several big events to look forward to. May is always connected with Mother’s Day. First, we will celebrate with our Mother’s Day Brunch on Saturday May 10 from 9:00am – 12noon. Then Sunday May 11 we will celebrate Mother’s Day. We certainly look forward to this celebration. Also in May, there are high school and college graduations. Congratulations to all the seniors who are graduating from both high school and college.
On Sunday May 18, we will be moving our 10:30 worship service to the chapel. Without air for the sanctuary, it will be a challenge to remain in there. Your contribution to the Capital Campaign will help us purchase and install a new air chiller and components. We could use your help in this Capital Campaign.
I encourage you to invite a friend to come and enjoy Sunday School and our worship services.
I hope to see you Sunday

School Lunch Project is the
Dollars for Missions
The School Lunch Project funds go to Enid Public Schools to clear any outstanding lunchroom debts for students. This is another way Central members can help feed those who are food insecure.
