Grace and Peace to You,
What wonderful Lenten and Easter Celebrations. I really enjoyed our movie nights, and I want to Thank everyone who brought food, and especially our popcorn maker- James Thomas. Our Palm Sunday celebration was amazing with many kids bringing in the palms and dancing, and the Easter Cantata was breath-taking as we listened to the passion story. Several people attended the Maundy Thursday Living Last Supper at Covenant Church, and many others came to the Good Friday Service at University Place Christian Church. On Saturday, we had a ton of kids and their parents for our Easter Egg Hunt and everyone had loaded baskets full of Easter eggs when they left. I want to Thank Martha O’Banion, Janet Jones, Jana Harvey, Harry Hammonds, Levi & Elizabeth Maddux, and especially Karen Foster, our Easter Bunny! On Easter morning, we had a small group meet for our Sunrise Service and I want to thank Randy Johnson for playing his guitar and leading the singing. It was a really meaningful service. Of course, we also had a church potluck breakfast before our Easter Celebration. What a Easter Celebration-starting off with the prelude and then the bells, the flowering of the cross, the special music by Marsha, the anthem by the choir, and of course everyone loves the kids bells and children’s time. I have heard nothing but good things about our Easter Celebrations. Thank you to everyone who helped behind the scenes and volunteered to help. I encourage you to invite a friend to come and enjoy Sunday School and our worship service.

We still need volunteers to help with the Mother's Day Brunch. There are two shifts available: 8:30 to 10:30 and 10:30 to 12:30. The shifts are designed so that you will still have a chance to eat and enjoy the brunch with your family. Please call the office if can help.580-233-1214. Many hands make light work!

Everyone in the family is invited! Tickets are $15.00 per person, $7 for children under 12.
