At Central Christian Church we believe in our mission:

We are growing a compassionate, joyful church, impacting lives in love, and connecting
generations through Christ.

Central Christian Church has been a part of Enid for over 130 years. We pride ourselves on service to our community and have and/or host a wide range of missions. We are in the midst of our Capital Campaign to make much needed repairs to our building. We need your help to continue providing services to our community.

Missions We Support

Enid Welcome Table

We wanted to feed God's children, with no strings attached so that the most vulnerable in our city do not go without food. We provide a hot meal every Sunday to the food insecure, right here in our Fellowship Hall.

Warmth Project

Every year Central Christian Church collects new and/or lightly used coats and regifts them to our neighbors in need.

Dollars For Missions

As a church that believes strongly in the power of community, we weekly collect 'loose dollars' as part of our worship services. These dollars go out to different organizations right here in Enid. We regularly support the Enid School Lunch Program, Retired Senior Volunteer Program (Meals on Wheels), Youth and Family Services and Loaves and Fishes with these Dollars for Missions.

Organizations That Call Us Home

Central Christian Church has opened our doors to other non-profits as a way to continue to support our community. We are providing space at a greatly reduced rate for these non-profits.

The Enid Children's Community Choir (EC3) has been rehearsing and performing at Central Christian Church since its inception in 2014.

In 2024 the Phillips University Legacy Foundation moved into our education wing. Several months later, the Rural Health Projects approached us about space for the now open Parent Resource Center. They provide after school tutoring and mentoring for children.

This year, 2025, the Community Development Support Association (CDSA) will open an Oklahoma DHS approved 5-star childcare facility in our building, providing much-needed service in what is deemed a "child care desert."

Foster Feet

Housed in Central Christian Church, we provide children in need with a new pair of shoes. Foster Feet provides more than 1,200 pairs of shoes and socks within Garfield County each year.

Hero Support Programs

Central, along with our sister Disciples Churches, come together each month to provide snacks, homemade cookies, lunches, gift cards and cards of encouragement to the Enid Police Department, Enid Fire Department and Vance Air Force Base pilots and enlisted personnel.

The Chalice

The symbol of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a red chalice with the St. Andrew’s Cross of Scotland.  This symbolizes the central importance of communion and our heritage from the Presbyterian Church of Scotland.
