Grace and Peace to You,
Now that we are past Labor Day weekend, we can look ahead to all kinds of Fall activities and events. While football seems to dominate the fall, there are other activities going on as well. Volleyball, softball, baseball, cross-country track, and soccer for the little ones. Gaslight is working on a teen production, and for kids in band and choir, they have competitions as well. We have children and youth in our church that are involved in several activities, so ask them how things are going. Everyone likes people to cheer them on.

We are busy at church. The Fish Fry, the September Board meeting, the Senior Medicare Seminar are highlights for this month. Our Sunday School Classes are going strong, and people are enjoying them; and the youth are meeting after church with Covenant Christian Church and doing activities together at times. When you look at the big picture, we have a lot going on.

Time and time again, in book and lectures, we are told we need to tell our story. We have so many stories to share, but it seems we like to keep them to ourselves. What do you like about our church? What is a favorite activity we do? These are simple things we can share with others. Then you can simply invite them to come and see. Once they come, then we as a church will hopefully make them feel welcome and share a few more stories.

We have room for more, for all are welcome at our table.
