Growing in Faith
To be a faithful, growing church, that demonstrates true community, deep Christian
spirituality and a passion for justice.
- Micah 6:8
We are here to worship, nurture, and share.
Sunday School Classes 9:00 to 10:00 A.M.
The Christian Education programs at Central provide opportunities for members of our congregation and visitors to discover and nourish their understanding of and relationship with God through appropriate curriculum to help all ages to learn and apply faith to their lives. Any member or visitor is welcome in any class.
We understand that one of our most important responsibilities is to teach children about the important stories of the Bible in fun and exciting ways. We also want them to learn that the church is a place where they will be cared for, affirmed and accepted.

Toddlers Education Wing, Main Floor Room # 104
Ages 3 & Preschool Education Wing, Downstairs Room # 16
What better place to start teaching children that the church is a place of fun and caring than in the nursery. The nursery is open from 8:45 until the close of worship and is always staffed with experienced childcare workers. Child care is provided for children up to second grade during worship as well. Preschool Sunday School (Ages 3 to 5 years) Main Floor Room # 110
Kindergarten Education Wing, Downstairs Room # 18
Elementary age (Grades 1st-5th grade) Education Wing, Main Floor Room # 103
After an opening session in “Kids Time”, the children will attend classes that cater to various learning styles. In this exciting workshop style Sunday School, we teach the same Bible story for several weeks, but each week we involve the children in very different activities. Our goal is for the children to have fun while they learn these stories. Art, story time, cooking, movies, science, drama, computers, music, and games are some of the exciting ways we help our children learn the important lessons of our faith.

Youth
Our intent is to provide a fun atmosphere that encourages individuality and strengthens our oneness with each other, but also to build spiritual growth, leadership, understanding, and acceptance as Christ first accepted us. It is our goal to learn more about God, God’s people, and ourselves.
As a young person grows in our program, he or she will become well acquainted with the Bible and experience God in a personal way, be it through camps and conferences, service and missions, or through development of individual spiritual practices. We encourage leadership, fellowship, service, and, most of all, discipleship with the Lord our God.
