What you can expect when you attend a worship service at Central Christian Church....

We are located at 1111 W. Broadway (behind McDonalds).  Parking is available all around the building but we reserve some front-row parking on Broadway and in the west parking lot for our guests.

If you have infants or toddlers, you are welcome to keep them with you or have them stay with our professional and caring child-care attendants.  If you're looking for childcare or a class for yourself,
or just have questions, drop by our Welcome Center. It is located just inside our main entrance on the north off Broadway. Volunteers there can assist you in finding your way around. However, the entire
congregation of Central is happy to help you get to where you need to go.

After Sunday School, held 9:00-10:00 A.M., you will find a coffee bar and refreshments in the loggia, a large common area to the east of our main Sanctuary, where all are welcome to help themselves to a drink or a snack.

We have four distinctive worship services, each lasting about an hour.  Each service is designed to welcome all into the presence of God in unique and different ways through proclaiming the Word, open communion (also known as the Lord’s Supper for all who believe in Christ), a sermon message, and music to suit all tastes. You will experience everything from ancient folk songs and traditional hymns to contemporary praise music, depending upon the message and the hour.  Worship is about God, it's about seeking to praise a God of grace and love, it's about finding renewal for the week, it's about joining with others to offer songs, praise, and prayers in thanksgiving for that grace and love. Choose the one that meets your needs—and join us for glorious worship and a powerful message.

Saturday:

- 5:30 P.M.—Chapel—casual and intimate praise and worship

Sunday:

- 8:00 A.M.—Chapel—informal traditional worship

- 10:15 A.M.—Sanctuary—traditional worship

- 10:15 A.M.—Chapel—casual contemporary praise and worship

As you enter the Chapel or Sanctuary doors, you will be greeted and receive a bulletin. The bulletin contains the order of the service, helpful information, and some current events. Please sit anywhere.   We want you to be comfortable in worship. Don’t worry about wearing the right thing when you come to church.  You will see some dressed up and some dressed casually.  Dress how you feel comfortable. You'll fit right in no matter what you wear, where you sit, or who you are!
