"The Jubilee Class scripture for this week's study of the "Sermon on the Mount" is Matthew 5:13-16.  The lesson title is "God's Way to Make a Difference".    This Sunday, Quilt Central will display a quilt that was made for the Disciples Home Ministry project, Quilts of Hope.  At this year's General Assembly in Portland, Oregon, it will join many other quilts in this special project. The quilts will be on display as part of the service project at the assembly. Participants will be able to tie a few knots in each quilt, symbolically uniting us as one body. At the close of the assembly, the quilts will return to their home church for completion and disposition. Please visit the display, located near the Welcome Center and offer a prayer for those in need of comfort.

Dear Church Family/Caregivers,
   Just a note to say a big THANK YOU to the church and to the special Caregivers who continue to uplift me with their cards and prayers.  I am blessed to have such wonderful friends.
   My health is better and I am glad I am close to my daughter and family.  I do miss all my church friends and family.
