PERU UPDATE

Association ENID has been formed by public writing and has been properly registered in Peru.  The Association bought land for the new school on May 30, 2005.  They were able to buy the land for less money then originally thought.  The land cost roughly around $2,760 US.  Right now Puno is in the middle of their winter season so they are expecting construction on the building to begin around the 1st of July.
We are starting to collect educational games and activities for young children that can be used in the three schools there.  If you have any educational games or activities that your child has outgrown or no longer uses we would really appreciate you donating it for one of the three schools in Puno.  These schools are for children ages three to six years.  Donations can be brought to the Welcome Center and put in the box marked Educational Activities for Puno.  These donations will be taken to Puno by those going on the mission trip later this summer.
Within the next couple of weeks we will be receiving videos of the children receiving school supplies that was made possible through the donations given by DWF.  As soon as the videos arrive they will be shared at the Welcome Center.  We would like to thank everyone who is helping to support the projects in Puno, Peru.
