MEMORIAL FUND STARTED

   A Memorial Fund has been established at Central Christian Church in memory of Jim Bell.  If you would like to honor him please consider a gift to his memorial fund.  Your gift can either be dropped by the church office or in the offering plate on Sunday.  Please specify on your check in the memo section your request to donate to this memorial.  The family will be contacted so they can designate where they would like the memorial funds to be used.


CENTOUR MONTHLY LUNCHEON

   The Centour Monthly Luncheon will be this Sunday, June 12, immediately following the 10:15 a.m. worship service.  The menu will include brisket, potato salad, baked beans, and yummy dessert.  Everyone 55+ is welcome to attend.


SPECIAL THANK YOU

   Since we're coming to the end of another church year and some changes will happen, I want to say a special thank you to Chuck Waldrip for all the work he did this year as Christian Education chair.  Many times, he went above and beyond the call to see that God's work got done with the kids.  Also, I want to thank the members of the Christian Education committee for working so hard in behalf of the kids of Central Christian Church.  Special thanks go to:  Laurie Bushman, Becky Meyer, Mary Johnson", Janet Jones, Jana Davis, Jane Johnson, and Sonya Waldrip  for their support in all ways and for being such good cheerleaders!  A special thank you, as well, to Becky Meyer for being such a great CCF sponsor!  We couldn't do this children's ministry without each of you.  God bless EVERYONE in the church who helps with our children's ministry for what you do.   I'm sure God is smiling down on our efforts.                          Carolyn

PROMOTION SUNDAY A SUCCESS!!!!

   Promotion Sunday was a great success with children of all ages being promoted to new classes.  In the Children's Department, Bible reader's awards were given to Aria Justice, Connor Angleton, Jameson Davis, and Rachel Meyer.  Memory verse awards were given to Jameson Davis, Dylan Lipps, Katie Bushman, Rachel Meyer, and Katherine Jones.  The following children were promoted:  To Kindergarten were Matthew Easter, Zane Janzen, Lawren Kerr,  and Carson Kroeker.  To first grade were Emily Angleton, Meg Bloom, Molly Bloom, Sarah Johnson, Kaylee Petersen, Brent Tilley, Macie Riggs, Brock Burchel, and Jake Lamle.  To second grade were Brenna Bushman, Kyley Lang and Johanna Clark.  To third grade were Connor Angleton, Casey Easter, Elliott Holden, Nicole Janzen,  Britton Yunker, Caitlyn Castle, Hallee Kroeker, and Serena Baker.  To fourth grade were Aria Justice, Ivey Dyson, Michael Johnson, Katherine Jones, Taylor Foster, and Rachel Meyer.  To fifth grade were Katie Bushman, Dylan Lipps, Brae McLemore, Austyn Riggs, and Blake Burchel.  Promoted to ChiRho were sixth graders Jameson Davis and Austin Jarnagin.  Promoted from Chi Rho to CYF were ninth graders Taressa Coulter, Jance Davis, and Austin Hula.  When you see any of our children or youth be sure to encourage them to continue their hard work for God.
