I have been blessed by being your minister and it's hard to believe that I have been at Central for a year.  Sometimes this year has passed too slowly, because of the combined stress brought about by my wife's death, and beginning a new career as your full-time minister which she was intimately involved with.  Although this year was difficult, I want you to know how touched I have been with all your personal and professional support, your food, love, prayers and advice.  I can now deal with Karen's death and I realize that life goes on. (This is so much easier to preach to others, than to live out yourself.)
I have been pleasantly surprised how my 30+ year career in factory management and my ministries at Hunter Christian Church and Garber Christian Church have prepared me for this ministry at Central Christian Church.  And you all have helped me so much.
Again, I have been blessed being your minister here at Central and I am looking forward to another year serving you and serving God.  Thank you for all you have done for me and may God bless you and your families.
