Silent Auction
It’s not too late to join in on the second annual silent auction at Central Christian Church. Many of you have already turned in your donation sheets and/or items. I’m sure the rest of you Centralites are just waiting to surprise us with your contribution. We would like to have your donation sheet by January 28th but we will accommodate the procrastinators in the congregation. Some of the items donated already include pottery, photographic print, purses, position on a cattle drive, time share in Arkansas, golf balls, Super Suppers, hand knitted items, woodwork items, vacation home in Colorado, babysitting, lawn mowing, handy man help for a day, homemade candy, homemade baked goods, and this just names a few items. We still need wallpaper applicators, painters, hunting and fishing leases, more handy man hours, more lawn mowers, house cleaners, cooks, more dinners, more parties, more picnics, cars, boats, planes, babysitters, dog walkers, ect. Please participate; everyone has a talent, or gift that can be shared with other Centralites. If you’re not comfortable showcasing your talent or gift (such as belly dancing) get a donation from a local merchant or buy something and put it in the auction. If you have questions call the church or contact Bret Whinery at 237-1635 or bbwhinery@cox.net. Don’t forget the celebration luncheon on February 13th. It will be a meal with good food, fun, and fellowship.
