NEWS FROM THE ADULT LIBRARY

   We have so many people to thank for books recently given to the library in honor of, in memory of or books from personal libraries.  Our appreciation goes out to all of you who have made your church library what it is today.
   DWF Agape Group in memory of Karen Johnson "Healing Prayers" by Reginald Cherry, M.D. and "Through the Rocky Road and Into the Rainbow Sherbet" by Laura Jenson Walker.
   DWF Sarah Group "Next Door Savior" by Max Lucado in memory of Ruth Frass and "Reduce Me to Love" by Joyce Meyer in memory of Middy Langebartel, sister of Bud Loomis.
   Rev. John and Carolyn McLemore have placed "The 100 Most Important Events in Christian History" by Kenneth Curtis & "Mark of the Lion" 3 book series by Francine Rivers, "A Voice in the Wind" in honor of Mary Johnson, "an Echo in the Darkness" in honor of Laurie Bushman and "As Sure as the Dawn" in honor of Bertie Krausse.  Willo Clark has given a 4 book series by Alexander McCall Smith "The No. 1 Detective Agency" in memory of Lillus Mace, "Tears of the Giraffe" in memory of Doris Klemme, "Morality for Beautiful Women" in memory of Juanita Walker and "The Kalahari Typing School for Men" in memory of Karen Johnson.
   "Days of Faith: Midday Meditations" by Dr. Carlton Garrison.  Mary Garrison compiled this book as a memorial to her husband.  It has meditations and pictures of places they traveled and lived.
   New series of Tim Lahaye and Greg Dinallo "Babylon Rising" in memory of Middy Langebartel.
   "The People's New Testament Commentary by M. Eugene Boring and Fred B. Craddock given by Dan and Colleen Harris.
   Francine Rivers series "Unafraid" (Mary), "Unshaken" (Ruth), "Unspoken" (Bathsheba), "Unveiled" (Tamar), and "Unashamed" (Rahab) given in memory of Karen Johnson by Doctors Richard Rivers, Barbara Whinery, Kristy Petersen, and Garrett Shelton.
   Mary Johnson for "Empire Builders" in memory of Laura Taggart, "Daybreak" in memory of Lillus Mace and "First Light" in memory of Grace Newton.
   Also a big thank you to those of you who have given from your personal libraries--Erma Fields, John and Kristy Petersen, Bette Owens, Dorotha Immel, Willo Clark, the Buvinger family, Monty Moore Family, Wanda Floyd, Arno Pautsch and those who helped select books from his library (Don Angle, Doris Ross and others).  Other memorial books we have yet to process will be in the next write-up.
