Our Forty Day Journey is Over,
Our Journey with God Continues

Our individual journeys, and Central Christian Church's journey, through The Forty Days of Purpose are over.  We had 130 people meeting in people's homes and 150 people meeting in Sunday school classes, all studying the Purpose Driven Life.  These journeys will change our lives and they will change Central Christian Church as our journey with God continues.

  • As people have prayed for each other and seen answered prayers in their midst, people have become close spiritual friends.  And as a result, our church will be much richer.
  • People have been motivated to use their gifts to minister to others in this church and others outside this church.
  • More people are praying for each other and for our church's programs.
  • People are reflecting on how to more fully live out God's purposes for their lives of worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and mission.
As a church, we are committed to continue the fellowship, the spiritual and ministry programs from the Forty Days of Purpose.
  • We will continue the Monday noon Prayer Service and the Prayer Support Group.
  • We will take a break during the holidays and this January, we will resume home-based small groups.
  • We will continue to have Miracle Days where groups of church members will go out and do minor repairs to members' homes.
  • We will continue activities that nurture the friendships we made, so they will last, for a long, long time.
May God bless all of the home hosts, Sunday school teachers and everybody who participated in Central Christian Church's Forty Days of Purpose.
