Mission Fair--November 7, Ministry Fair--November 21

According to Rick Warren, we all were shaped for serving God.  And we all were also made for a mission.  This means that God gave you specific gifts that you should use to bring non believers to Jesus by "Loving your neighbor."  This also means that God gave you specific gifts to use in your church.
We are having a Mission Fair on Sunday, November 7 where we will have about 20 different organizations here to show you how and where you can volunteer your time and talents to help others (love your neighbor).  Details of this Mission Fair are in an accompanying article in this week's Visitor.
We are having a Ministry Fair on November 21 where we'll learn about Central's many ministries and programs.  Details of the Ministry Fair are in an accompanying article in this week's Visitor.
As we explore the purpose of our lives, we realize that God has given each of us special gifts or talents.  The Mission Fair and Ministry Fair give us opportunities to use our gifts to help others and connect with other members of Central Christian Church.

*Global Missions    *Boy Scouts--Troop 2

*Gideon's     *Horn of Plenty
*Senior Life Network    *Our Daily Bread

You will be able to talk with the representatives from these organizations before worship from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m., and after worship, from 11:15 a.m. until noon.  At 12:00 noon, "Mixed Company" will have a short concert in the sanctuary.  Light snacks will be available to tide your appetite over until lunch.
Bring a guest to worship on November 7 and see wonderful opportunities to serve Jesus Christ by using your gifts and volunteering to "love your neighbor."
