MISSION MINISTRY FAIR Sunday, November 7
Jesus said to love your neighbor. So, Central Christian Church is hosting a Mission and Ministry Fair on Sunday morning, November 7, to help each of us fulfill this commandment. This fair will help each of us use our unique gifts to help others. This Fair will also provide an opportunity to join one of the many ministries at Central. I'll talk about these ministry opportunities next week. We plan to have about twenty outside organizations at this event. Each organization will have a representative, brochures and possibly a video presentation. Participants include: *4RKids *Hope Outreach *Global Missions *Boy Scouts--Troop 2 *CDSA *Habitat for Humanity *Gideon's *Horn of Plenty *Senior Life Network *Our Daily Bread *Quilt Central *Kids Central *Christian Church in Oklahoma *N.W. Area Disciples Women *Central OK Christian Camp *Phillips Theological Seminary *Autry Technology Center *Hospice Circle of Love *Vietnam Mission Trip *YWCA You will be able to talk with the representatives from these organizations before worship from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m., and after worship, from 11:15 a.m. until noon. At 12:00 noon, "Mixed Company" will have a short concert in the sanctuary. Light snacks will be available to tide your appetite over until lunch. Bring a guest to worship on November 7 and see wonderful opportunities to serve Jesus Christ by using your gifts and volunteering to "love your neighbor."

NEWS FROM THE OFFICE
Tim McAnally has recently volunteered to take over the job of Network and Computer Administrator for the church office. He will be helping with computer and networking problems as well as helping to select new computers and software. Tim has been in the computer business for many years and has just started his own company, Remote Computer Services, for individuals and companies needing computer support, consulting, and training for those who need to learn how to better navigate software programs on their computers.
Don't forget to bring a dessert for the fellowship dinner this Sunday.
