HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!

   Twenty-one kids and four adults had a great time on Saturday night at our big birthday bash.  We played games, sang happy birthday to ourselves and to Jesus, got presents, had a dance contest and just had a whole lot of fun!  I'll have the pictures on display soon.  Can't wait till next year when we do it again!!!!!!


UNICEF

   On Wednesday night 10/27/04 at 6:30 p.m., the CCF and JYF children will go trick-or-treating for UNICEF in a couple of neighborhoods.  UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) uses the funds raised by trick or treating to fund childhood vaccinations, schooling, housing, food distribution, etc. to the children of the world.  More information will follow.  Parents, think about which of you will come along as sponsors.  (The kids will wear street clothes, not costumes.)

…Congratulations to Jameson Davis for reading his Bible bookmark last week.  He got 2 McDonald's ice cream cone coupons for knowing at least one famous person for every Bible verse.  The rest of you have until next week to read that bookmark and get your coupons!!!  Get going, okay?
…A BIG THANK YOU to Becky Meyer and Jana Davis for helping to sponsor our birthday party on Saturday.  It was wonderful of you to give up a Saturday night to be with the kids.  God bless you!
