Well…my, my, my but you're being impressive.  We've only had our new memory verse for 2 Sundays and already 5 of you know it.  Everyone else is working on it really hard.  Just concentrate and I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT because it's so important to us as followers of Jesus.  "Hear, O Israel:  The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.  You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your strength."  Deuteronomy 6:4-5

   It's coming!  It really is!  The big birthday party is coming on Oct. 9^th (Saturday) at 6:30 in the Youth Center downstairs.  We're going to have a blast celebrating everyone's birthdays at the same time.  We're going to have loads of fun AND help someone else, too.  Put this date on your calendar!  (Does anyone have a keyboard we can use?)  This party is for everyone grades 5 down to nursery.  (If you want your mom or dad to sponsor, have them call me.)

   Don't forget to bring another a canned good again this Sunday for Horn of Plenty and we'll take them to the front of the sanctuary during church and put them in a basket.  This is for all grades and ages, including toddlers up through fifth grade.  It doesn't matter what the can is, but peanut butter, canned vegetables and tuna would be good.  Just remember to watch the mail for a postcard to remind you.   And don't let your parents let you forget!!!!!!!!!
