First through fifth graders ---- Don't forget to turn in your "Glimpses" flyer.  You have until 6/27 to get them in.  If you've lost yours, just let me know and I can give you another.  So far, Jameson Davis, Rachel Meyer, Macy Hula, and Connor Angleton have turned theirs in.  You want to get the CD case for doing both things on the back, don't you or the special gift for doing the top part?????

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

   Don't forget that VBS starts on June 28th from 9:00 'til noon.  You will have a lot of fun coming to Lava Lava Island.  Directors Laurie Bushman and Lois Tilley have done a lot of hard work so far and you'll be surprised at some of the "stuff" we're going to do.  See you on Monday, the 28th!!!!!!

YOUNG DISCIPLES

   Because of lots of conflicts, we had to reschedule Young Discples for July 6, 13 and 20th.  AND, we decided to open it up to last year's 2nd graders, too.  So if you have completed the 2nd through 5th grades, you can participate in Young Disciples.  Be in the church fellowship hall at 10:00 on July 6th, ready to participate.  We will do crafts, Bible study, and games until noon.  Be sure to bring a sack lunch (drinks provided).  On 7/6/04, at 12:30,  we'll go see a movie or rent a movie to watch here.  It depends on what's showing at the movies whether we stay here or go to the mall to the movie.  We will be finished by 3:00.  Information for 7/13 and 7/20 events will be given later.

We will have ticket Sunday on June 27th so everyone needs to be here.

   Thank you so much to Laurie and Thom Bushman for giving me a birthday party during our Sundary 9:00 Great Gathering at Ted's Place.  The donuts were so yummy!  Everyone sang happy birthday and it really did sound like an angel choir.  Thank you so much for being so good to me.   Carolyn

Faith

   Faith may seem to be at a disadvantage in a world where television and the Internet bring us pictures of events from around the world in real time and we see so much, in fact too much, of our world.  But, when trials come, and trials come to everyone, only faith in Jesus Christ can get you through those difficult times.  Faith is an unseen power, that works wonders in our lives.  And when we turn our faith into action, our faith does wonders in the lives of others.
