It is with great regret that Jim and Peggy Goodrich have cancelled their Christmas Open House that was scheduled for this Saturday, December 13.

   Thanks to everyone who had a part in helping me celebrate my 80th Birthday.  At the party planned at my church by Linda and Kent and for the many cards I received -- would you believe 120!  I hardly had time to rest up from all of that when it was time for me to pack up and head for the valley.  Arrived down here on November 3rd and have been busy ever since trying to get organized.  Seems to take longer than it used to but guess that could be age--right?
   Now things are going as usual.  Cards and games in the evening and back to the planning stages of the Amigos group for the Christmas party in Mexico.  Went over twice this week to see what all needs to be done there and also to take clothes across the border.  So far real lucky as they didn't stop me.  And tonight is choir practice at my church.  Hope the best Christmas ever for all of you.

   Secret Santa Sponsors are needed again this year for the developmentally disabled.  You can select a Secret Santa for one or more individuals from the Secret Santa tree.  You can then go out and purchase at least one gift of their choice.  Mentor Network is asking that you only spend $10-$20 per individual.  This gives each individual at least one or two gifts to put under their tree.  If you prefer not to purchase a gift you can donate money and the Mentor Network will purchase the gift.  Please contact David Dell at 233-0042 if you would like to buy a gift or donate money.
