Kids and parents, please pick up your 110th birthday posters from Carolyn soon. Those that are not picked up will be thrown out, so don't forget. They were wonderful posters and you all did a great job. There were many good comments from people during our birthday celebrations last week! Congratulations!

If you have borrowed a green, blue or purple CD player from the church, please return it to the church office. These CD players are used for teaching purposes and should not be borrowed without checking in with Carolyn. Thanks for your help.

NEW MEMORY VERSE
Luke 1:31b-33 "…and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his ancestor David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom, there will be no end." I hope everyone of you will learn this Bible verse. Learn it a little bit at a time and it will be much easier. Go for it!!!

We give a great big thank you to the following Bible Quest teachers for our "People Who Made a Difference" rotation: Nancy Hohmann (video); Barbara Baker and Gail Novak (Bible games); Janet Jones (cooking); Chuck Waldrip (storytelling); Laurie Bushman (music); Paula Howard (science); Vickie Elliott (art); and, Allison Angleton (computers). Of course, our permanent teachers deserve a big thank you, too: Ellen Easter (Little Angels); Ruth Ann Erdner and Abbi Ogden (Little Shepherds); Janet Jones and Jana Davis (children's music). Also, we want to thank our Children's Church teachers: Laurie Bushman, Sue Chael, Tammy Ingram, Becky Meyer, Lois Tilley, and Sonya Waldrip. Our children's Sunday morning programming could not happen without the hard work of all these Christian servants. God bless each of you!
ADOPT A FRIEND
We have enough money for our first month's "adopt a friend" program. The money will be sent soon and we will have our new child to be friends with. I'll keep you posted.
