There are some changes in our childcare programming that you will want to know.  We have hired a "special needs child" caregiver to provide care for our special needs kids.  Her name is Jackie Ward and she started her duties last Wednesday night.  Jackie will be here on Wednesday nights from 5:15-7:45 and Sunday mornings from 8:30-11:45 a.m.  If you have a special needs child, please call the church office for more information.  Also, Pat Wagner began providing nursery (infants) care on Wednesday evenings last week.  She will be available from 6:00 - 7:30 each Wednesday night in addition to her Sunday morning duties.  Of course, Kristina Donaldson will continue her Wednesday and Sunday duties for those children older than nursery but younger than CCF (4 year olds-2^nd grade).  If you have questions, please call the church office.

   I want to thank my loving church family for the assistance provided to John and me while I was sick.  The Genesis Class went over and above the call of duty in bringing all kinds of yummy treats to eat when I could eat nothing else.  Special thanks to Thom Bushman for organizing all that effort.  Laurie Bushman, Mary Johnson, Tina Swanson, and Pat and Skip Whitmer were a special blessing to my recovery.  I wish you could have seen the beautiful plant the staff sent me.  What gorgeous blooms it had!!!  And, my goodness, there was an absolute landslide of cards and phone calls.  The post office and Hallmark must be feeling quite superior!!!!  Thank all of you for caring for me so well.  It means the world when one is sick.
