Our Dear Friends at Central,
   Words seem inadequate as I attempt to thank you for the prayers, cards, and hospital visits over the past several months.  As I look back it has been your Christian love and action which has carried Don and me through a very difficult time.  New light has been shed on the poem "Footprints in the Sand."  We were unable to walk on our own but Christ, through you, carried us every step of the way.

   The Decorating Committee will meet Wednesday, October 22, from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  We will be working on Crismon symbols for the sanctuary.  Some sanding, painting, and decorating with trim, etc. will be done that day.
   Everyone is welcome to come help.  The more the merrier.  Come anytime and stay as long as you can.  Bring a sack lunch if you plan to stay the day.
   If anyone has gold trim, gold glitter, gold pipe cleaners, gold beads or gold braid, we would appreciate your donation.  Bring them to the church office anytime or to the fellowship hall on our workday.  Hope to see you there.
