This month the Single Women's Fellowship will meet at Central at 8:00 a.m. and then will go to Bette Owens' home for breakfast. Please call Bette or Dorris Botts for reservation.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
There will be a Congregational Meeting Sunday, September 15 at both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. worship services to approve newly elected Deacons.

Dear Central Christian friends,
Thank you so much for the many members who called, brought over goodies, and prayed for me during my recovery from spinal fusion surgery.
I know my parents, Max & Mary Johnson, received stars in their crowns for nursing me back to health and so appreciated your outflowing of support.
I have told my pastor in Garden City that I was truly blessed to have two church families praying for me. The power of your prayers have continued to heal me each day. It was good to be home at Central. Debra Jones

ELDERCARE CLOSET
The Eldercare Agency assists in supplying everyday items for the elderly and handicapped in our community. Check out the Eldercare Closet display shelves located in the Loggia just behind the Welcome Center. CACS committee has requested that Sunday, September 15, be Eldercare Closet Donation Day. The closet is in need of cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products. A complete list is available at the Welcome Center. A donation box is located next to the display shelves. Monetary donations may be left in the church office with one of the secretaries. Make checks payable to Eldercare Donation Account.
