MEET CENTRAL'S 2003--2004 BOARD OFFICERS
James Cox is the new Moderator of the Board. He has been a member of Central for 38 years holding many offices and contributing his time and talents eagerly when needed while also operating his own law firm. James has been married to Janet for 51 years. They have three children, Jamie Smith and husband Joe of Enid, Jerri and husband Byron Whetstone of Overland Park, Kansas, and Jay and wife Stephanie Cox of Columbus, Georgia. They also have eight grandchildren. Bea Simpson is the new Vice-Moderator of the Board. Bea has been a member of Central for 8 years. She is a member of Disciple Women's Fellowship and the Crusader Sunday School Class. She is also a board member of the Arts and Humanities Council and a member of several book clubs. Bea has been married to Bob for 48 years and they have one child plus a surrogate child. Megan and husband Joe Kennedy of Woodward and also Masaru Shiega and wife Yoshiko and 10 month old son Takashi. Masaru was a student at Phillips and then Bob's Assistant while they lived in Japan. Bea has two step grandchildren and her hobbies include music, travel, and reading. David Eck is the new Treasurer of the Board. David has been an active member of Central for 38 years. He is a member of the Adult Bible Study Class and also the Choir. He is also an Elder and Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign. David also participates in the United Way, Civitan, where he is the Treasurer, Barber Shop Quartet, Corvette Club, Antique Automobile Association, and he is on the board of the Enid High Alumni Association. David has been married to Kathy for 38 years and they have four children. Brian and wife Traci of Atlanta,
