I'd like to thank everyone who has helped with Christian Education this past month.
Our Children's Church volunteers for March were Carolyn McLemore and Catina Sundvall. Thank you for making church a fun and enjoyable experience for our pre-school through 2nd graders.
Easter Sunday concluded the "Last Supper" rotation. I'd like to thank Catina Sundvall, Melissa Hula, Myrla Powell, Mary Johnson, Gail Novak, Barbara Baker, Dave & Sue Chael, Kristy Petersen, Beth Tefft, Ginger Hicks and my husband Tim. I really appreciate all your hard work and support.
Carol Ingram, Karen Foster, Joshua Bell, Janet Jones, Myrla Powell, Annella Baker, Barbara Baker, Caitlin McAnally and Meghan McAnally helped to fill Easter eggs following the Seder meal on March 27th. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to help with this task. We filled approximately 145 dozen eggs.
Our Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, March 30th was a great success because of the enthusiastic response we received from the congregation when asked for cookies, plastic eggs and monetary donations. Thank you for being so supportive of this event.
I'd like to thank Tom and Jewel Witty for allowing us to use their property. Several people were out at the Witty's early Saturday morning to help clean up the yard and hide eggs. The clean-up crew consisted of Murel & Paul Denny, Randy & Matthew Johnson, John & Carolyn McLemore, Barbara & Walter Baker, Natalie Baker, Janet Jones, Stacy Lane, Johnathon, Brian Meyer, Thom Bushman, Rich Swanson and Joshua Bell.
All the eggs were hidden by Patrick Little, Melanie Novak, Taleya Coulter, James Phillips, Amanda and Brian Phillips.
Last but not least, I'd like to thank Josh for being the Easter bunny's cousin, "Bubba".
